Referring to your confidential despatch of 8th February beg to refer to my confidential despatch 28th November and beg to point out that account book entries are evidence in civil actions by law of Colony
and furnish strong corroboration of oral testimony on charge A and B. By telegraph should be glad to know whether fact alters decision similar entries accepted evidence two subsequent cases continued employment of sanitary department my Government are quite satisfied are corrupt will render hopeless attempt to further purify department Kelly has obtained employment railway without mentioning suspension, prepared to allow to serve there as long as he desires if satisfactory.
